And it says that those map files can't be found, when they are there (i checked) thanks in advance Combined error of the .dll registry and your IWD Files. Edit: Ok, I re-installed it and now I'm getting an "impure client detected" error when I try to connect. I just installed this. Is there a way to turn off pure client checking on the server? It's just for a lan and I don't really care if the clients are pure or not. And here is what the server console window showed. Just won game by one point today, the person in first was 9 points infront of me then i scored the flag got ten points and just beat him lol. And to turn off the pure checking server side, tick the box "Pure" off when starting the server or if you use a config: sv_pure "0" Good luck. I know there are a lot of people who hate brecourt , france but its starting to become one of my faves, but it wont beat mahatma, tunisa, love that. Especially for CTF and S&D. I played for about 2 hours last night and i was like 7 kills- 27 deaths @vALKYR - Are those "zzz_" files supposed to be deleted? I have two of them in my main folder and i don't know what they are. Posted March 5, 2006 Share Posted March 5, 2006 I think the zzz files are modifications that you might download from servers, such as PAM, AWE etc. I can't see why they can't stay there, unless you feel the need to remove them. EmSixTeen Posted March 6, 2006 Share Posted March 6, 2006 You're probably thinking of Quake 4 mate, which is a piece of turd in comparison, not even worth it for the graphics. Quake 3 is about 5-10 quid in eBay, but can't be found in shops as it's long out of production. It is one of the best and most fun games I've ever played. I first tried it about 2 weeks ago and played a game for like 10 minutes and i thought it was really neat but i was afraid of people complaining about how bad i sucked. But then this weekend i decided, well i need to start somewhere, so i just started playing again. And then i was playing this one game last night and they kicked me off the server for some reason and i don't know why but i didn't let it bother me and just joined another one. Then the next game i joined was full of a bunch of Campers and i hate those kind of players they are really annoying but eventually i killed one and it felt fantastic. It made me mad how it seemed like it took me 5 bullets to kill them and everytime i got shot it was only one bullet. Personally, i like using the BAR on the american team, and the rifles, then when Campers make me mad i bust out with the sniper on occasion. And thank you, Em. In my first game i don't think i killed a single person. If you get kicked its usally so another person can get in, happens to me sometimes aswell. GTA3Rockstar Posted March 7, 2006 Share Posted March 7, 2006 CoD2 on veteran (the 360 version, not Big Red One) was a great game to play through, multiplayer is even better once you can connect to a server that doesn't lag once everybody is connected. Haven't won any online games but it's still fun. Also, whats that middle picture of, the other 3 look familiar but the middle top row one looks completely different than anything i played. Kind of off topic, but not... I see on your gamertag, you beat CoD2 on veteran, how long did it take you...
