uuu Posted February 19, 2006 Share Posted February 19, 2006 The game still crashes, and I still have the sound bug that only goes away when getting in and out of cars. Can anybody help me, my specs are: AMD Athlon 3500+ 2.0 GB RAM ATI RADEON 9600 (256MB) Creative SB Audigy Windows XP Pro SP2 When the game crashes, the screen freezes but sound continues to play. I am using no mods and all the latest drivers. The problems are the same in V1 and V1.01. How can I fix this? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GTA3Freak-2001 Posted February 20, 2006 Share Posted February 20, 2006 There's no real answer as the 1.01 patch doesn't seem to always fix what its supposed to for certain people which shows off how badly ported the game is. I am not sure what to suggest about the crashing but the sound bug has been reported to be fixed by lowering the hardware acceleration for your sound device in directx.
