I know there is many between like 15 to 20...25. But u know.. all you who have passed the thirty-barrier and still enjoy wasting your time with games like GTA and what not... Well anybody post your age... no matter if you're 12 or 22 or 54 . Just would like to know. And yeah, also what kind of comment you get when ppl see or hear you play games. Or is it just exprssions like "poor you" like I sometimes get. Well kids think it's cool that I'm a gamer. Finally someone who knows what they are talking about. hehe. Oh almost forgot.. I'm myself 32 at a moment. Oh, and if this has been asked recently just ignore... I didn't find anything with search. Generally they seem nicer people for it, more on the same wavelength with you. What's amazing about all the controversy surrounding SA is that people not in the know automatically assume it's only teenagers playing the game because as far as they see it, only teenagers play video games. They forget that the *kids* who were playing Asteroids ca. 1981 are 30-something now, and the kids who were playing Mortal Kombat in the early '90s are out of college now... I think the GTA Forums need a senior citizen gamers support thread, so this isn't necessarily redundant. I'm 24, and reading these boards a lot of times makes me want to look in the mirror for grey hairs...really I don't think this is indicative of the ages of all GTA gamers but simply of those who play and participate here. I even know of pro baseball players in their late 20s who bring a PS2 or XBox with them on the road who play games like GTA to let off steam...they have time to plug in their system and wreak some digital destruction, but they're not going to log onto here and post. Well assuming that your friends are around 10-12 years of age, most of them just got out of elementary school and are just starting to build a attention span as well as some maturity, Most of them will think a bit different when they get to that fun little place called high school. Anyways, for now, most of them will just sit there and wonder why that woman just got into the car and the camera changed all of a sudden with the car bouncing a min later. Trust me, GTA is not really all about the missions, most of them will have to do the missions when they get the game themselves so they will eventually get to fly that plane or fly over the army base, and thats if their parents will let them get the game, I don't see very many parents saying ok to buying GTA for their 10-12 year old these days. The only reason I got any GTA game was because I used my own money and discussed it with my parents. They said as long as I don't imitate anything from the game they were fine about it. About the High School thing, most of them think they are going to be 'gangster' and 'ghetto'. They are going to have to think differently when they get there. I think the oldest member might be "Cerbera's Mom" Ottae, dont you be telling everyone my age When I was like 13 and stuff, I was into gaming then from 17 to about 25 I wasnt, I was out on the lash, still do, but now, I have my own place and job etc, I find gaming is a good thing to do again. So I think game phases are what we all go through, most of the the guys on this forum will take time out from the site and gaming, but mark my words, they will be back! I'm proud to say I played all the GTA's (Except London, I never see that anywhere) even though my parents wouldn't allow me to get Crash Bash because it had to feature "Laser" Guns and tanks. Then I got my first pc about 8 years ago and started to play... got hooked. Man, Fallout 2 took all my spare time and more. Then I had a long break when I played only very rarely cause of work and stuff. Then I found out about GTA. Whoa! Now gaming is a good way of releaving stress.. good get away as I can't go out much being a single father and all. Plus, my kids like when daddy plays with'em. Not GTA though. But in my opinion abusive gaming after the age of 25 isn't very right - Dri'z Up. HAHAA, Thats funny. You propably right but its too much fun. Or else it probably be being bullied daily. Well its good to see that you explained it to your parents, and its good to see that they know what the game is about, I give a + to both sides here. I do hope that more parents realise that there are worse games out there. Anyways, the high school thing, if its anything like my old school, then hopefully there will be something called "Freshman Friday", its a Friday where all of the freshmen that get on the nerves of the upper classmen literally get thrown into trashcans.
