Mainland Marauder
I don't have the PC version but couldn't you move your save files somewhere else, uninstall SA and then reinstall it from the disc to restore your file? Then move your save games back in their proper folder. Just a suggestion. I remember doing this with SimCity 3000 when it glitched on me (back when I had a PC that could play games besides Minesweeper). Worked just fine. That's exactly what you can do. You simple go into San Andreas User Files, take out whichever save slot you want, put it on another place on the computer (ie. desktop), reinstall the game and drag the file back in San Andreas User Files. Mainland Marauder
Aren't the mods separate files you could move as well out of your SA directory before uninstalling? Keep them on your desktop or wherever you would keep your save game files. If your system or any program (like McAfee QuickClean) asks you if you would like to search for and/or delete remaining SA files, select *No* and do it yourself. Duplicate files could cause problems when you reinstall, so make sure nothing's left except your save files, mod files or anything else like that. Reinstall and put your saves and mods where they need to be. You should be set. If this doesn't work, you're in a quandary of whether you want to go through reinstalling the game and mods or just having your CJ go without his ever-fashionable trucker hat. Mainland Marauder ponders whether this topic may better be served in the PC Troubleshooting section. "You tell me exactly what you want, and I'll explain to you very carefully why it cannot be." pdescobar
Reinstalling is the only guaranteed solution. If you are lucky, someone will upload it somewhere and PM you the link. You can also check Psy's Clothing mod backup package but I think that only contains txds and not the dffs. Next time, backup anything you replace in the img files or, if you have the space, backup the entire unmodified img files so this doesn't happen again.
