Help on getting around GTASA V2

Okay, Im new to this forum (as you can tell) anyways, I bought a copy of the game two days ago, and I need help on solving how to use those nice mods on my version 2. If somebody could email me ([email protected]) or PM them to me it would be a great help. Im basically a n00b when it comes to hacking games, strange why I can do other hacks, but bomb on this Thanx for the instructions ahead

I finished reading that long post on version 2 and still have no TRUE\REAL identity on how to mod version 2, is or has there been any more progress on this? Im kinda hoping there has b/c I really dont want to shell out more more than I piad for version 2 which is now 19.99, and version one on a decent shopping site is 49.99 and above. That suxz of R* to be that deviant and assanine to rob PAYING fans of the joy to play there games the way we want. Thats like Ford, GM, Chrysler, and automakers alike telling us we can't customize our cars theway we want to. To me that is not American or even a decent response to the Hot Coffe mod, they could have just left the whole calling girlfriends out, or not in the game at all. Anyways I could go the distance with their legal propaganda, but I need a rest. Till then Im hoping new discoveries are made to help out me and others with version 2

Basically, in certain areas of modding, we would need to reinvent the wheel and/or develop methods to circumvent version 2.0's file and data validation methods, not an impossible ask, but somebody has to want to do it and give up their time.

 

Currently the best method to alleviate the troubles and open up every available modification to you is to obtain a fully enabled version 1.0 original executable (simply backup and replace yours), again it would be best if you found your own ways to obtain this as it is legally frowned upon.

 

Modifying several months of previous mods just to ensure they are compatible with all current SA versions is a rather tall ask, and totally unlikely considering the above solution is swift and easy, some developers have done this already as version 2.0 was released while they were still in the middle of their work.

 

I don't know if anybody is working on a patch to return full functionality to handicapped versions, if I find the time I will have a good poke around and see what makes them tick. I have only patched a few programs in my time and I doubt rockstar made simple changes as they were in legal limbo for a while there concerning the whole hotcoffee fiasco.

 

Anyhow, I suggest you have a snoop around this vast World Wide Web and see what turns up, might even find yourself an exe that removes the need to have the disc in the drive entirely (hint hint)

I agree with that right there. I'd volunteer to be both tester and guinee pig; however, somebody would definitely need to give me the tools and pretty much a slew of instructions to do this. I have bought just about all GTA series from the GTA II all the way to Liberty Series. I hate to see that R* has become so friggin' selfish to keep you from customizing your game to fit your needs and wants. Ah well, I guess somethings just take time, but again its time Im willing to donate to crack this game wide open. Im a fast leaner when it comes to technology, so Id definitely be willing to aid in this cause. {Feeling all patriotic lol} Yeah, but I'll go around and well, dunno if Im suppose to post, but Id certain drop the word, and PM the good news when I find the solution.

Well, I figured it out and yes you do need another executable hint hint and also I found that if version two users also turn on the frame limiter, turn the fx to medium, and well this sucks but NO MUSIC playing at all, then it will work for a good long while been playing for 2-3 hours and no crashes at all. Becareful when installing the vehicle mods, make sure they aren't buggy, and if the game doesnt want the vehicle, then dont force, save then take out that buggy vehicle mod. I found this from another site too, make sure you execute the exe (the replacement version 1 no-cd) in the same place as the game itself. Shrink the window before the game starts, and blamo you got version one and many mods until the hard working modders come up with a nice patch hopefully , well thats all what you said , and then some added things. Hope this helps, and I hope Im not in violation of any rules on here. Keep hope alive Version 2 owners.
