hello guys, i created some cars for gta3 vice city in the past, i did the modelling the textures and also plublish my work here. Now i have GTA san andreas and i want to make some cars for it. this is my problem.

I allways use zmodeler , i used to open a car of the game as a reference , now zmodeler dont want to open it.

I work with 3ds max all the time and i would like to know if there is a plug in or somethig to import the cars to 3DS max and work with it instead of zmodeler.

I will like to know where is a tutorial about the textures of the cars.

Please help me

all the max plug in's you need for gta mods can be found HERE, read through the thread's pages for some good hints on how to use them.

if you want max texturing tuts just take a look in the tutorial forums HERE and HERE

you may also want to look in HERE

alternatively you can still use zmodeler2, you can simply save you old project/s off as .z3d files from zmodeler 1 and then import them into zmodeler2 and export as dff. you can find zmodeler 1 and 2 and some tutorials for texturing HERE

Good luck

Suction Testicle Man

And before the question is asked, it is impossible to use any version of zmodeler1 with San Andreas.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail, and the test will be terminated.
