Oddsock
Hi yall. This is my first post here, so I hope it doesn't suck. I was just wondering, who is your Mr. Sandman? If you have trouble sleeping or are having hardcore buttsecks, who do you listen to to fall asleep? I listen to a Mitch Hedberg CD. He's funny. Yourselves? -Cheeburger, Cheeburger! Rayo Puño
I usually listen to classical. Lately it's been all about that Franz Schubert though. Ave Maria is the sh*t.

Groovy
I just listen to what I always do if I need to get to sleep. Doesn't matter if it's thrash metal or death metal. If I listen to it, just laying there in the dark, I go out like a ton of bricks.
Paco
I attempt, but it never works cause I need complete silence to go out. But usually a good dose of Art of Noise or some smooth Motown tracks put me in a real sleepy mood.
Demarest
I've listened to Mitch Hedberg too. Any comedian really. George Carlin, Andrew Dice Clay, and Sam Kinison to name a few. Usually though, it's episodes of shows. Like South Park, Aqua Teens, or even That 80's Show.
gta_player5
I listen to what I usually listen to. Nothing different. I mainly listen to rap, so it isn't that louw, but when I do play music to try and help me get to sleep, its usually turned down from how I normally listen to it. No songs in particular, just what evern play list is on at that time.
Mr. Coke
I just listen to Hard Rock, anything I am into then. Could be anything, sometimes even some classic rock. But I never fall asleep to them, I always turn it off when I am dozing off.

Hack.
Any type of music that I think is good will put me to sleep if I'm in the mood for sleeping. Doesn't matter what the genre is or how it sounds. If I like the artist I'll probably be out before the first song ends.
Bizarro.
I usually put on some RJD2 tracks (which I would never even know about if it wasn't for Rayo Puno's advice in my hip hop topic ), Quasimoto, or sometimes some MF Doom. Anything that's calm, slow, and relaxing will help me get to sleep.

Wadders
I have to agree with the above poster the lost in translation OST is great to listen to when you are trying to go to sleep. Other faves of mine are the final fantasy 7 OST, the future sound of London presents amorphous androgynous or any my bloody valentine album. Dublo 7
Usually it's nice relaxing music. Could vary from RJD2 to the Strokes.
darthYENIK
I can't listen to music when I sleep. But I like to listen to music when I'm drunk and about to pass out. Then I listen to "Ride On" by AC/DC.
leper73
For me, it's the Beatles' Abbey Road or the Rolling Stones' Their Satanic Majesty's Request. Both have some hypnotic tracks that will just put you in a trance for the rest of the night.
Dublo 7
Roy Orbison also does the trick for me.
Jay
I think some people would think I am weird, but BT is good for sleeping. Especially Godspeed. Nice and low, nice and flat. Also, 4 banned members on the first page, the topic still open. Magic.
Oddsock
Sexy. My first Music Chat thread gets me two pages and no real flaming. Just putting it out there, listening to psychological or therapeutic(SP?) tapes helps with any problems you have. My dad is heavily into the workings of our mind and how the "I think therefore I am" thing works, and it does. So, if you have an allergy/disease/stress problem, I suggest listening to tapes like that. Really helps you fall asleep and naturally heal things. -Cheeburger, Cheeburger!
