Wanted4Murder Posted February 18, 2006 Share Posted February 18, 2006 Hey I´ve just noticed that, only CJ, your gang, and some of the characters that you meet through the game are black. there are no black peds or anything. only your gang, and some people you meet. does anybody also think this is wierd? There are 216 non-gang, non-girlfriend, non-special peds in peds.ide; of those: 111 (51.39%) are White, 54 (25%) are Black, 23 (10.65%) are Asian, 21 (9.72%) are Hispanic 6 (2.78%) are Native American 1 (0.46%) is indeterminate (I can't decipher the name; all I know is he's not white) The percentage of black peds in San Andreas is 25% while in the real state of California, blacks accounted for just 7% of the population in the 1990 census (reference). If anyone is actually underrepresented, it's Hispanics (25.8% of California in 1990 census). Please actually have some evidence the next time you think of making a ridiculous claim. And I'm not one to pay attention to detail. I leave that to poeple like Mxy(you're just too damn good man). Rockstar totally missed this demographic... Sounds like someone was trying to get Jesse Jackson to tag-team with Jack Thompson on his little crusade. This might be the most ridiculous claim I've heard yet about this game. In fact, it is. I can see people getting duped by a Photoshop of Bigfoot, but you'd have to be Woozie-blind to not see black peds in SA. (like the GSF spawns more then one of them guys who have bags over their head.) This is what I thought when I first started the game: LOL BLACK PEOPLE!!!, that was the first 5 minutes and after that it was: LOL BLACK PEOPLE AND WHITE COPS ONLY!!!
