pdescobar
i was playing earlier and found that the wheels on the greenwood had shrunk has anyone experienced this problem? how can i fix it? The wheel size can be changed in the data files. Check your vehicles.ide file and make sure the greenwood entry matches this: 492, greenwoo, greenwoo, car, GREENWOO, GREENWO, null, poorfamily, 10, 0, 0, -1, 0.7, 0.7, 0 I believe the two "0.7" are the wheel sizes. It might also be a good idea to check your handling.cfg and make sure the greenwood entry matches this: GREENWOO 1600.0 4000.0 2.5 0.0 0.0 0.0 70 0.70 0.8 0.52 4 160.0 20.0 20.0 R P 5.4 0.60 0 30.0 1.1 0.12 5.0 0.32 -0.20 0.5 0.0 0.22 0.54 19000 0 10000001 0 3

pdescobar
neither of those worked... i have a screen if u have any way of getting it from me. Quickest way to post a screen shot is to hit the "Print Screen" button, open up Paint, paste the image, save as a .jpg then upload to somewhere like http://imageshack.us or http://putfile.com and copy the URL into your post. Also, some questions: Is the Greenwood the only problem car or are others a problem? Have you installed any car mods or wheel mods?

pdescobar
SCREEN:http://img470.imageshack.us/my.php?image=g...123023599zk.jpg A couple of notes: Rather than posting twice in 9 minutes, it's generally preferred that you edit your previous post with the button in the upper right because it keeps the thread length smaller. Also, that's an okay URL for linking, but the "my.php?..." links don't work as an inline image; I inlined your image below (using the thumbnail.) And finally, either the forum is darned slow or you need to try again on the PM 'cause I didn't get a thing. Back on topic, that's really odd. If your vehicles.ide is fine, I'm not sure what other advice to give; what happens if you try and mod the wheels? Perhaps someone else knows what else it could be... pdescobar
OK, after reading the SA Vehcile Tech Doc, I have something to try. Change the vehicles.ide line from this: 492, greenwoo, greenwoo, car, GREENWOO, GREENWO, null, poorfamily, 10, 0, 0, -1, 0.7, 0.7, 0 to this: 492, greenwoo, greenwoo, car, GREENWOO, GREENWO, null, poorfamily, 10, 0, 0, 0, 0.7, 0.7, 0 Once the yellow number is zero, the orange numbers should have a visible effect so you can then change them as needed; bigger numbers should be bigger wheels. Backup your vehicles.ide first, just in case.
