Dogmeat Posted February 18, 2006 Share Posted February 18, 2006 I never really liked about CJ being able to carry 35743543 different weapons at the same time. So I started to mod the weapons with Ultimate Editor. I made all the rifles, shotguns and special weapons to use the same weaponslot and did the same with the pistols. So now CJ can only carry one pistol and one rifle and nothing else. First it was fun but then I noticed that all the weapons use the same ammunition (for example you could load shotgun with M4 ammo). I want the weapons to use different ammunition but still have the same weaponslot. Desert Eagle and Colt use the same weaponslot but still they use different ammunition. Can I somehow do this for all the weapons or is it just some sort of main.scm script? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Statico Posted February 24, 2006 Share Posted February 24, 2006 There's an attribute in weapon.dat which is the clip size, so it could be that, but in the main.scm, pickups are given a set value of how much ammo you'll receive, so it could be either.
