Skimmer Controls

I'm running the PC version of the game and I cannot get the Skimmer into the air in the mission "Dildo Dodo". My controls are set for "W" for acceleration and "NUM6" for lean back. I accelerate and at first it goes fast, but then it just goes really slow and quickens when I go backwards. Any help on getting the plane into the air? I'm pressing Num6 but it just won't work.

 

Also, on the mission "Distribution", the Mr. Whoopee's horn won't work at all so I cannot get the jingle to start. Any help on that, too?

Practice makes perfect. It's true. Just keep at it. If you're positive you need more detailed advice, utilize the forum search function. I can vouch for the fact that this is one of the most common problems, and there'll no doubt be a multitude of topics on the topic. Possible search terms to get you started: 'dildo dodo', 'skimmer'.

Tap the key. Don't press it. Hit it as quickly as you can. Again, if you're still stuck, this problem is incredibly common and the previously linked to search function will obtain results in no time.

Eh, I didn't find any other answers to my questions by searching using 'dildo dodo' and 'skimmer', but thank you for answering. I'll try what you said.

Oh! D'oh! Sorry. I had it set to search for posts 30 days and newer, which is why no meaningful results turned up. Didn't really look at that until I noticed it now. Thanks, I fixed my problem.
