TOGA62
aren't they not developing anymore new 1st title games for the xbox? Or was that just a rumor I picked up on? If it is true though, buying a regular old xbox probably wasn't the best thing. You won't ever be getting new stuff for it. Digïtál £vîl
Get a 360, then break your controller. Because of their crappy customer service, I have gotten a replacement wireless controller, 1 free wired controller, hopefully an extension on my xbl account, another free wireless controller which is on its way (supposively). Only time will tell.

Only time will tell. Are you serious? On-Topic: Unless you want to load your xbox's hard drive full of Weezer tracks, that hard drive will last a LONG time (im still at the "50,000+"). Metal up your ass!
Venom
The Xbox's memory is bleeding unbelievable! I have over 50,000 blocks for my sounds track and I still have loads left, so much, it won't even state. Memory cards are only good if you want to tranfer data from one to another, like with friends. gta_player5
Yea, I have saves for at least 10 different games plus about 15,000 blocks for music. And I still have 50,000+ blocks. So it should be plenty.
Hunter¥
I must say, you picked a fine time to buy an Xbox. Don't buy a memory card. They don't work with some games and the harddrive will last you for forever.
Lord Evergreat
The hardrive lasts forever. I've never saw it where it doesn't say "50000+ blocks remaining"
darthYENIK
I have about 75% of my music collection (only about 25 albums), and about 30 saved games on mine. I've never had a harddrive space problem.
Smellton
The best thing about getting an Xbox now, is that you can get the console and all the best games for a low price. The hard drive is huge, you will never run out of space.

The hard drive is huge, you will never run out of space. It's not like, 'woot so f*cking huge'. Just 8gb and some models have a 10gb drive. Still, its a lot of f*cking space for custom soundtracks and savegames. Unless you have XBMC and have all your porn in there.
Smellton
I'm just saying it's a bit of an improvement over the PS2's 8MB memory cards.
just another thug
Once you mod the thing, the harddrive isn't big enough.
cannabis182
Dont pick up a memory card the hard drive is plenty enough to save all ur games my cousin saves all his stuff on the hard drive and its fine he still has lots of [email protected]! Dalpura
The memory card, as far as I know, is for taking saved games and profiles with you. The hard drive is more than enough, you'd be wasting your money on the memory card - unless you want to take saved games and profiles to friend's houses or whatever. So that's the logic behind the memory card if you're wondering why they make one when you can just save to the hard drive. @ just another thug - That's why you put a 120Gb in it when you mod it. googlemail
Xbox hardrive rocks im using alot for music and gamesaves about 35,000 and its still over 50,000... But when you start modding that is simply not enough...Replace with a 250gb And only get a memory card if you want to take game saves to your mates house or whatever... Better than a memory card is a Max Drive..This is a device you link to the pc download gamesaves videos whatever onto it then hook up to your xbox and put them onto your games Best of all theyre only about £
