In gta 3 to get to second island early you could jump girders i know that definatly dosenot work but i think u still might be able to do the boat trick to get to the third island form the second island. Posted February 17, 2006 Share Posted February 17, 2006 If yuo were looking for a solution which doesn't involve cheats, so that you can have a totally cheat free game, then i'm afraid there isn't a method, although i presume you'll just use the cheatdevice as many others have. Black7 Posted February 20, 2006 Share Posted February 20, 2006 Haven't found any way to get to the second island at the start. But once you unlock the second island it is easy to get to the third island before doing a single mission on island2. The trick is to goto the docks below the bridge. Get on a boat and run it north around the island. Next to the ferry dock ramp is a steap ridgeline. Run your boat up this as hard and fast as you can. It should land in the parking lot. Grab a car or truck and push the boat down the road a little to the western unused ferry ramp. once in the water you can then jump back in the boat and you should be on the other side of the barriers. Ride over to shoreside vale. I did this and now have 99 packages and haven't done a single mission in Staunton. Other than packages, there is nothing else you need on Shoreside Vale that you can't get somewhere else. Some people say you need SS open to complete the Love media car mission, but they're wrong.
