gta_king
End Of Evangelion is my current favourite, it provides a fitting conclusion to the Neon Genesis Evangelion Series and feels more like an ending then the Series. It does contain some of the most f*cked up scenes i've ever seen in a film though and one of the best uses of a song ever. (Komm Susser Todd) Asuka's death scene was also one of the most shocking moments in the movie especially with it coming straight after Misato's death aswel. The final scene is also really bizarre with Shinji and Asuka there on the beach in the final scene with Asuka muttering the words "How Disgusting" after Shinji stops strangling her. I'm also a fan of Star Trek First Contact The Matrix (The entire trilogy) Casino Ghost In The Shell Appleseed

fido2
I can never single out one over the others since I like them all for different reasons. • American History X • Clerks • Dr. Strangelove • Forest Gump • Pulp Fiction • Requiem for a Dream • Reservoir Dogs • Star Wars, the old ones. • The Big Lebowski • The Godfathers • The Matrix • The Shawshank Redemption They're all equally awesome to me. I think I need to watch more movies that aren't so well-known, ie Seven Samurai or Das Boot.
Rayo Puño
Seven Samurai; Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring, and Sumer; and Enter the Dragon.
Bauer
I was going to say Snatch until I saw fido 2's avatar. Felt like a bad omen or something. Oh well, my favorites are: Snatch - Excellent in every aspect, hilariously smooth movie with great style and humor. Back to the Future 1,2, and 3 - The little details with consequences with time travel along the great dialogue and story made these movies a forever favorite of mine. Terminator II - A smart Sci-Fi movie that went beyond what most movies do and did it amazingly well. The Breakfast Club - Grew up with this movie, great humor and characters. Layer Cake - Introduced me to British cinema. Very stylish with a complex but entertaining story with a neat ending. Toy Story and the rest of Pixar's movies. - Pixar has never made a bad movie. A christmas Story - Grew up with it, always a special place in my heart even though I watch it a thousand times each Christmas. Erm, there's a lot more great movies out there, but those I grew up with and mean the most to me.
Guest
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Passion of The Christ, just to name a few. I'm too lazy to start listing them all.
MrLorenzo
Naked Lunch. I know a lot of people hate it, and a lot of pretentious people love it, but it's really just a great (and upon the first few viewings, f*cking confusing) piece of cinema. Jordan
What the hell are all of you smoking? You all think the best movies of all time are Saw, Scary Movie, Cool Runnings (wtf?), Team America, Fight Club (that sh*t that 15-year-old's salivate over?), and others... I know "we are all entitled to our own opinions" but I can tell and finally have proof that some of you are very young. EVER HEARD OF E.T. : The Extra Terrestrial???????? EVER HEARD OF Goldfinger (possibly the best James Bond movie)????????? EVER HEARD OF Indiana Jones????????? I mean....this "Fight Club" and "Team America" sh*t has to stop. It's like you are TRYING HARD to show me you are young.

Jack_Knife
*snip* Er, does it really matter how old everyone is? The topic is about listing your favourite movies, and that's what everyone is doing. So what if they like sh*t movies? Can't you just be quietly content with the fact they're missing out on awesome cinema, like myself and I'm sure a lot of others here are doing? To be on-topic: I don't watch movies too often, but my favourites would probably be Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, The Matrix and The Wall (). "You can play faster than Al Di Meola and do it with only one pinky, but if you're not listening to what is going on around you, you might as well just shut up" isn't your croth suppose to be erecting when you have an orgasm?
