Demarest
You posted it on a forum, so we answer on a forum. If we emailed you, then how could others with the same question benefit from the information? If you can't be bothered to check back, then don't post in the first place. Standard (PC) controls: Arm a weapon that has a sight to it and aim it at the shopkeep of the 15 particular stores that can be robbed. He will stand at attention and turn his head slightly. As you wait, piles of cash will slowly appear as you gain a wanted level. Classic (console) controls: Pretty much the same thing except that you hold the Aim button to maintain a "lock" on him. Spuds725
Moved to gameplay... Edited thread title slightly to better reflect the problem... R1 on PS2 will auto aim... Justin
Standard (PC) controls: Arm a weapon that has a sight to it and aim it at the shopkeep of the 15 particular stores that can be robbed. He will stand at attention and turn his head slightly. As you wait, piles of cash will slowly appear as you gain a wanted level. Just to expand on this, you don't actually have to be in the process of manual aiming - that is, as long as the weapon you're holding has a crosshair, you're good to go. It's perfectly fine to hold the aim button (default is 'Delete' key), but not necessary.
Demarest
Really? I've always had to keep it on him. Could be faulty memory. Once I find something that works, I rarely try alternatives.
Justin
Yup. Unless you misunderstood me/I conveyed my message poorly. But yeah, I wasn't holding 'aim' in the above screenie.
