Niall
I did a search for my problem so please don't flame, and after 2hrs of reading and another 2hrs of making myself feel totally stupid trying to figure this out in 3D Max I come to you for help. I am tweaking a mod of a '70 type 2 VW Bus ( for my own use ) to match the one my grandparents bought in Germany the day I was born and gave to me for my 16th b-day, so you see why I want it in my game. It's going great except when the car gets damaged the doors and boot loose their textures and go white. It also did this before I messed with it. So I assume the damaged parts are calling for a texture that's not there (as there is nothing white in the txd file including alpha channels) Can someone help me with this? How do I find the name of the txd it needs? Is it in the hierarchy of the dff? If so that may be a bit beyond me. Is there a way to make the car indestructible so it won't take any damage? Picolini
If i recall correctly, you need a texture for damages that are seperate, but i don't know much about texturing. Just trying to help.
