DarkRukario
I wanna save a shockwave game. I have done it already before, but this one is hard. It's a game from shockwave.com and I can't save it. There's no .dir files in the Temp folder, just some files with .gvc extensions. Can anyone help me? Svip
Shockwave is just another flash player, and when writing a game (no matter what language), you (as the programmer) can choose how a game is going to be saved (if the players can even save their game). My point is; The game might not even be able to be saved from the creators' side. Besides, I feel this topic belongs more in Gaming Chat or PC Chat, as this really have not much to do with programming or web design.
Demarest
Well let's say you wanted to save a Flash. (in IE) Clear your Temporary Internet Files (TIF). Now visit the page. Go back into your TIF and there should be a SWF file there. Copy it and paste it where you'd like it saved. You've saved it. Same is true for most files. I don't know the extension of Shockwave though, so you'll just have to search for a large file. That's why I recommend clearing your TIF first as it narrows things down considerably. And yes, PC Chat would be more accurate.
DarkRukario
I think I found the file, but it has a .gvc extension and I can't open it with IE.
