Mr Big Man
Just been messing about with some cheats when i discovered something interesting. Apparently you can get higher than the height limit allows without using the interior universe or anything like that To do this you need: -'outer space cars' cheat enabled -parachute -jetpack -blown up vehicle and a healthy vehicle -a well fed CJ (coz this may take a while, you dont want him dying on you now, do ya?) First, drive the healthy car towards the blown up car (it needs to be destroyed, as i'll explain later) you want to nudge it fairly gently so it doesnt go flying off. Strap yourself into the jetpack and fly up to the floating, rising car. land on it, and take off the jet pack. this is why the car needs to be destroyed. if you try this on a healthy car, you'll end up falling off trying to get into it when you press triangle (or X-Box/ PC equivilant) Now you'll be rising upwards at a fairly slow rate. You can check how high youre ascending with the parachute. After a while, you'll go above the game's ceiling, and you'll keep on rising. now its up to you how high you wanna go. I left CJ like this for an hour, and when i jumped off, it took me well over two minutes to freefall back to the ground. Perhaps this could be another way into liberty city? maybe not, i havent tried it yet. I dont think this has been posted before. If this is old news to anyone, sorry about that Mr Big Man
Mxyzptlk
Yeah this has been known since the floating cars cheat was found and mentioned a few times this month in related topics. But you can't get to Liberty City in this way, because it's not loaded in the normal universe (the exterior world).
Mainland Marauder
Basically, if you don't have a cheat device, you need to do one of these three things to get to Liberty City. A) Play the mission "Saint Mark's Bistro." B) Remove the SA disc and replace it with GTA3. C) Buy a PSP and Liberty City Stories. Doing the latter two will offer much more to do in Liberty than in the half-acre of Portland that's present and solid in San Andreas. Actually you can go to Liberty City in San Andreas using only button cheats: Liberty Get to Guide
