Adrena1in
I think the longest I've stayed in the air is only around 2 to 3 minutes, but I'm sure I could keep it up for longer if I wanted to! I like to just explore, seeing the Cities from above and flying over the buildings, and I invariably bank too hard or lose concentration and hit a wall or something, but that's all a part of the fun to me. But you know what I wish? I wish Grenades were the selected weapon when sat in the Dodo. How cool would that be, flying low and doing bomb runs!! ... Hey, has anyone had at least 3 Wanted stars and gone for a fly? Do the Police Choppers keep up with you and shoot you down?
Bartleby
Hey, has anyone had at least 3 Wanted stars and gone for a fly? Do the Police Choppers keep up with you and shoot you down? Oh! Oh! I know this one! The choppers tail behind you the entire time you're up in the air. They gradually get closer and closer if you fly straight for a prolonged amount of time, but even if they do get right behind you, it's not my experience that they fire at you at all. AT400
About flying over buildings. On that one, it depends which ones. For example, some of the buildings in Downtown you can get on the roof, while others, at the same alititude have no roof. You should try it, you go "inside" the buildings. Same goes for Portland, but I think those are solid. To get high enough, just do what I described earlier.

Bartleby
LazLoW,Apr 16 2006, 18:43] ok, i absolutly pwn at dodo flying, im possibly the best in the world, ill teach you how to fly in one simple video, which i should be ablt to complete in 30 mins, 1 hour at MOST. I'll keep you updated. Not to be an ass, but it's not exactly hard to fly the Dodo. The takeoff is the most complicated part, which comprises all of pushing the nose down with the right timing. From then on you just glide, making slight and gradual turns. Even I could fly it for days, hypothetically. Looking forward to your video though. I remember around summer 2004 I made my own little Dodo Tour of Liberty City. Fun stuff.

HotWire
When I flew the Dodo across the water, I considered it a major acheivement, myself. I didn't really think it was meant to fly cause of it's clipped wings. The farest I haver got it was landing it on the main road just above the Jetty ( Stauton Island.) on the opposite shore. That was probably barely a minutes flight time on that . Where is this ghostown?
Spenc938
I have gotten up to I think 900-1000 seconds, but it gets boring after that long so I just crash on purpose.

helegad133
The Ghost Town: At the airport, get the Dodo at the end of the straight runway (parked beside a few helicopters, a helipad and not too far away from the building with the Police Car hiding behind it). Taxi towards Staunton, and turn around at the end of the runway. Start revving, and start flying straight (you should be heading towards the place where you found your Dodo; remember? Near the helipad and helicopters). When you're in the air, fly around the mountains on the outskirts of Shoreside Vale. After a while of hugging the mountains (about a minute), you should see a sort of inlet with unloaded textures to the right. If you've got the draw distance to the max, you should start seeing the Ghost Town which is beside the 'inlet'. It's fairly level with the sea (which has now been changed into Blue Hell), and nothing is solid. Do some circuts around it, and that's all there is to see. Most of the textures in Ghost Town are unloaded too. Hope this helps!
