slideways Posted February 15, 2006 Share Posted February 15, 2006 All of the gta's i ahve tried have made my character move backwards and to the right. I'm using a mouse and key board. Is there any known way to fix this? I also tried that game on my friends comp and it worked i also tried 2 different keyboards and still no luck. narain Posted February 15, 2006 Share Posted February 15, 2006 Maybe you should change your control settings to 'Classic Mode'. 1.Go to options. 2.Controller Setup 3.Change from Standard to Classic That should solve your problem and let you play only with the keyboard. Justin Posted February 15, 2006 Share Posted February 15, 2006 To pluck the words from Dem's mouth: rogue controller. Unplug all joysticks, gamepads, whatever. In terms of control devices, make sure only the keyboard and the mouse are plugged in. You'll probably find a joystick that's fallen off your desk with a stick pushed to the back right. If not, unplugging unnecessary controllers won't hurt. Ninja edit - you know, if I didn't waste my time typing out the whole Dem thing, I probably would have saved myself sixty seconds and posted before him. The guy has a problem on a superior platform that can be solved in a matter of seconds and you'd have him go out and spend more money on an inferior platform?
