This is a new map that uses the Newport garage. Its in its Alpha, Garage doors protect enemies from entering. It's origin is an abandoned Weapons lab meant for testing Mines, Rockets, and the Minigun. But when things went out of hand, The area was evacuated. Radiation caused a big problem. Plutonium from a loose rocket leaked, and a firefight broke out. The area was nuked, but was rebuilt, And the construction workers salvaged the remaining parts, and built the Newport Garage. There are bombs, gates, and rooms in this area. Once i figure out how to keep the items from spawning OVER AND OVER, this map will be released. I am getting coords now. Im just having a slight problem. Some objects spawn off of the ground, and float. Any ideas of this problem? And, is it possible to get gates to open automatically for you? Update #1: Got some help..as soon as i explain the layout to pspboy, ill get the entrances, and the area quarantined from Peds, and vehicles. Update #2: I just spawned a minefield testing area outside the Newport garage, Its another abandoned testing facility. It tests a teleportation device through phone booths..lol. It was meant for testing explosive devices. Origins of BOTH weapon labs the WDL0405 (Weapons Defusal Lab) was the first of its kind in WWII, the weapons were sent to Hawaii, but something terrible happened. One of the weapon shipments, were bombed. This caused the WDL to shut down. 4 years later, in 1946, it was reopened, and moved to a newer location in Liberty City, and, just to fool terrorist attacks, it was a Garage. The area was abandoned because of leaking plutonium from a Warhead. As far the Weapons Testing Lab, located in the once Yakuza Hideout, holds different testing weapons. The famous Rhino Tank, Dodo plane, and holds the RPG. Not only does it hold a vast amount of explosives, it also looks extremely deceiving. At night, blining lights can be seen from the explosives. It was abandoned due to the shutdown of the WDL0405, since no further shipments came in. Update #3 Ok, got more help. i figured out how to fill the garage with people, so i got Army officials in the garage, but couldnt get screens... Update #4 IMPORTANT! EC's Const Mode has uberly helped! (yes, i said uberly) I wont need anymore help on this project, it is WELL underway, i already started making! Anyways, i need to know this. Does anyone know of Ped spawn codes? and how to keep AI from spawing inside my blocked off areas? BTW: Screens in a few minuntes! Update #5 SCREENS! wow, thats a highly security guarded gate... Other Entrance WOW! Big time block! im pretty sure the mayor would be there by now.. LOL! He forgot the password! OMG! Update #6 Changed name! The name in this post matches the topic! WOOHOO! I just spawned *KEEP OUT* Automatic gates infront of the Garage entrances, well..i got about a million to spawn in different angles. It made me so mad. How do i prevent this from happening? I dont think its about getting your rotation values right or anything, I think its just a bug in the game itself. Like Noru said, you could turn it on then off. That works for me a lot. I just finally got the gates to spawn CORRECTLY. they are in a good spot, but arent correctly blocking the entrance, so its in the entrance like, I, instead of _, but still, I just need help with the rotation values. What Axis does what rotation? like X is pitch, or Y is yaw, i dont know. Thats what i need to know. And, i assume if the number is negative, its left? BTW: Is it possible to change the skin of your player? like a hazard suit or something? i flipped through all the peds, nothing i want...but the Army guy.
