Snares
Throughout the Movie/Book/Game, Luther, the cowardly and thrill-seeking leader of The Rogues, is seen talking on numerous payphones to some anomonous person. The person is never fully clarified as a character at all. Just curious to see any theories or ideas people may have. PS. No doubt this has been brought up before in the Warriors topic, but this deserves it's own topic in my view.
CochiseWarrior
judging by my username, you could tell i watch the warriors a lot, and no hints are ever given off about who hes talking to. it could be another rogue, it could be his girlfriend, and it could just be someone else. no one knows, and i doubt it will be solved. Snares
I've always thought it was Masai. There's just something about him. Think about it, he would gain control of The Riffs. Throughout the game, we see him pessimistic about the meeting and against all gangs forming as one. He takes his opportunity to kill Luther when he has no use for him, and doesn't want the truth to get out. EDIT: Cheers, forgot entirely about it Edited February 7, 2006 by Snares

Scarface187
I don't think its Masai. I've always thought it was just supposed to be a mysterious contact. Probably someone in a higher position in the Rogues even though it seems that Luther is the leader.
iwishihadbroadband
I reckon it could be Masai, although Luther does say that he "does things like that" when asked by Swan why he shot Cyrus. It could've been the police, or another disgruntled gang, because the Gramercy Riffs are the biggest gang in the film and Cyrus' plan for unity could've screwed them up. CochiseWarrior
Let me bring this up. He said "This guy, Cyrus got wasted. Some guys, the warriors or something" I believe he wouldn't say "This guy" when referring to Cyrus if it was Masai.

DeusExMachina
Yeah, but, like, it's weird. PLOT HOLE ANYBODY!? It's not a plothole. As someone said before, he was talking to "McGuffin." Basically, its a plot device that seems important, but is never thoroughly explained or detailed. Like for instance the briefcases in Kiss Me Deadly (if any of you have seen it) and Pulp Fiction. What's inside it? Gold? Drugs? Money? A soul (I'm sure some of you will get that)? It's never explained.
