t0nedude
After putting up (and getting fed up) with countless versions in this game of R*'s perverse sadism so far; Vinewood, Freeway, Chiliad races, Trucking 3,6,8, Schools all Gold, Bmx, Stadium races, and any other effers I may have missed. I was not looking forward to the nrg500 challenge, and wasn't disappointed. Some of the coronas were tough to get and it wasn't unusual for me to still have 5 or 6 left over in a failure. Suffice it to say that my first thoughts were F*** this! Then I heard about an exploit, or glitch. Well it still works in the PC version (v1) for anyone that wants to know! It actually is not that hard to get to work as well (2 or 3 attempts for me). Hehehe here's two fingers in the eyes of R* design dept. Normally I don't like using glitches to get past sections, I definitely would not have used a code to get past anything, sort of defeats the purpose really. But so much of this game is rock hard and sadistic that I have done legitimately, that I got some perverse pleasure in sticking it to R* in this fashion. Says it all really. Tony. Mxyzptlk
If anyone isn't sure what he means, you can get infinite time by driving into a corona after the timer disappears and before "mission failed" appears.
drvixx
i was fearful of the NRG 500 Challenge for a long time... and then i heard about this so-called glitch, i tried the method 10, 20, 30 times... never worked so i said what the hell and just did it... i was amazed, i completed it with 2 secs to spare. in the end i didnt know why i was so fearful in the first place... its probs because it looks really evil But congrats t0nedude on beating the challenge... and R*s design dept... hehe
t0nedude
Oh the irony, some people have reported having so many problems getting the glitch to work, some (like me) have no problems at all with it. So what's the greater challenge, getting the the glitch to work or doing the challenge? Go figure... Tony.
