Emerica2843
I just bought San Andreas for PC at walmrart tonight, the 2nd edition on DVD. I installed it and everything went ok, then when i went to launch it for the first time, i got one of those "memory reference errors, terminate program" or w/e they say, so i clicked ok and it closed the game. I clicked the icon on my desktop again, and the screen goes black for a second or two like its starting the game, then it just takes me right back to the desktop,

constipated_cannibal2002
well you meet all the recommended requirements. You should try and reinstall the game and try and update your videodrivers. usually that's the problem. I haven't gotten the game yet but ive been on these boards for a long time. thats usually what works.

constipated_cannibal2002
well defragging might help since when you defrag it makes your system run better and when your system is running better the game should too lol.

Simon.
You have three methods: 1. Stop uneccesary programs 2. Delete gta.set (My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files\) -> Install latest drivers -> Method 3 -> Play 3. Uninstall -> Disk Cleanup -> Drive Defragment -> Install -> Method 2 -> Method 3 -> Play Holla back on which method works. If any work of course. Edited February 11, 2006 by Simon.
