splitty Posted February 6, 2006 Share Posted February 6, 2006 i have been modding san andreas for a while now but for some reason now any cars that i replace dont change. e.g: i replace the sultan with a subaru impreza but ingame it still shows up as a sultan Also now my game has started freezing randomly. help? Picolini Posted February 7, 2006 Share Posted February 7, 2006 Sounds like you aren't replacing the right files, if it is showing up as the original car. It would never show up as the original if you put in the right files over the right car. And for the freezing, if it actually freezes (stops playing, crashes) than you have a mod in that isnt working correctly. If it is always in a certain area, you can look on a location map to see if any cars spawn there, and if you modded that car, than its most likely that. If it is just slowing down, lagging bad, than it is a high-poly car, or something with a huge texture file... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
golferguy Posted February 14, 2006 Share Posted February 14, 2006 are u sure u actually replaced the txd and dff for that car well if u didnt i think the game wouldnt work anyway just try uninstalling it and install it again and b VERY careful while u do this to make sure u dont skip a step hope that helps(i am haveing problems with this type of thing to... not freezing tho) Also ur graphics card may not b able 2 handle it(again i really dont know the specifics bout ur pc and the problem) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
