lolo603 Posted February 6, 2006 Share Posted February 6, 2006 if u have a decent computer, then the PC version is better since it gives better graphics than PS2 if u have a nice video card. and it's better to aim with a mouse than using the analog stick. i am using v1.01 and it works fine. GTAThomas Posted February 7, 2006 Share Posted February 7, 2006 I agree with everyone here 100% I just got San Andreas v1 a few days ago, garage sale. If you dont think itll be better on PC then just look at the comparisons. PS2: unmoddable, no custom music, hard manual aim, only 640x480 res, its easier to control cars and bikes with PS2 controller, luckily you can get an adapter too and use your ps2 controller on the pc! eliminating the mouse though. Nick000 Posted February 27, 2006 Share Posted February 27, 2006 I'd say if you're looking for the game in its "natrual", state than PS2 v1. If you're looking for a regular game, PC v1 is the best. MrWiggles Posted February 28, 2006 Share Posted February 28, 2006 I currently have both versions (the PC version and the PlayStation 2 version). This might sound weird, but I alternate between one version and another. Both versions are pretty good. The PC version has shut down on me during a game and sometimes it had trouble starting up. However, I feel the PC version is slightly better. Just for the record, I bought the PlayStation Version before Christmas, but an ex-girlfriend bought me the PC Version. Thats why I use both.
