poopskin
1. i have <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=31&k=norton%20antivirus" onmouseover="window.status='norton antivirus'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">norton antivirus</a>/popup blocker and it expires in 12 days, unless i give it the activation code, which i kept it in a wordpad document my sister deleted and i totaly forgot the activation code!!! help!!! 2. even though i have a pop-up blocker, one popup gets through-winfixer. when i'm surfing GTAF, a popup comes up saying: "if your computer has errors in the registry base blah blah blah do you want to install winfixer 2006?" i say no/X out and the page displays anyway. i x out. then another popup says "you have not completed the scan. click okay to bring up the download page." i X out of the popup and it uses the IE page i'm browsing on to open up the download page and the first thing i do is X out instead of pushing back. Wolf68k
1. 2 suggestions. Since you're using IE (just a guess) forget Norton Popup blocker money grubby BS and get Google Toolbar or you can get Pop-Up Stopper Free Edition from Panicware.com. Both are FREE and do a great job of blocking pop-ups. If you need an antivirus, then get AVG Free or AntiVir or NOD32, all of which have a free version, and depending on who you ask, they work great. 2. Try this for the winfixer fix (yes it's a pun ) http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_127690.htm BTW, I don't know what you were expecting from that link but it's bad anyway.
