thats true i liked Easy but he was more of a character really sure he was a real dope dealer but Biggie and Pac had set stages and had alot of meaningful lyrics Eazy was just an average run of the mill rapper i still liked him he did make some great tracks like real Muthaf*ckin G's and The MuthaPhukin Real with DJ Yella & MC Ren

Vito: Eazy didn't even want to rap, in the beginning.

Yeah thats because he originally wanted to be the manager of NWA (*), sounds suspicious huh?

*(then Ice Cube gave him some lyrics for the Eazy-Duz-It album).

sh*t niggah... f*ck biggie... no one remembered bout Eazy.

I'm listenin to Hashim's Al-Naafiysh (The Soul)... its the real deal electro rap song from the eighties.

this beat is off the hook.

waddup people

You do know most of Eazy's stuff was ghostwritten, the D.O.C. even had to show him how to flow what he had written for him...

Most of the biggie tributes that were on yesterday and today weren't that good. sad.gif Nothing exclusive was played. sad.gif

lol.

But Eazy died of aids man, they had to say somethin bout that.

doc didnt do his sh*t. doc went to death row with dre.

At the beggings of N.W.A. Eazy was just there to front the group with the funding, Mostly D.O.C. and Ice Cube taught him how to rap and gave him all his crap.

Well at least Eazy-E writes better lyrics than Dr. Dre (he probably doesn't even write it? Snoop Dogg?) thats for sure.

hey before you start trying to drag Dre's name throught the dirt so what if he dosen't write his own lyrics he's made some great beats and is a great producer but the thing with N.W.A was it had that great combination in the beggining it was just Eazy Dr Dre Ice Cube MC Ren & DJ Yella Eazy was the frontman a character which sold well Dr Dre he had the great production skills Ice Cube And MC Ren were the lyracists until Cube went to do that course in college or university for a few months then they brought The D.O.C. into the eqaution soon him and Ren were competing to make great lyrics hence why there tracks were great and Yella was the DJ but then Heller n Eazy got greedy and started dippin into the money but Cube was the only smart one at the time to figure it out then soon later Dre found out about it with The D.O.C. and in an interview The D.O.C. in 2006 he talked about how Eazy had said for some of the lyrics he'd made Eazy would give him anything he wanted so at the Time with The D.O.C. been young he stupidly asked for Eazy's $100's of dollars worth of jewellry and Eazy had walked away with about 1 million dollars worth of decent lyrics

On the Eazy subject, I find myself a little torn between comparing him to hip hop greats of his time, like Cube, Dre, Snoop, and all them from the West, mostly anyway, because really the West was on the mainstream back then. But I do think, regardless of whether he wrote his lyrics or not, you can't argue his prints he left on the hip hop world. Same with Dre, though I'll always respect him twice, thrice, and even more as a producer than ever as an emcee.

Mister Pink

Kraftwerk was dopeness. They laid the foundation for electro, techno, and house. Well, that and Italo Disco.

I loves me some electro, a whole lot. Though, it's a hard genre to get into, because it never really got a lot of mainstream prominence meaning that acquiring the music is rather hard (buying and downloading). However hard, though, it is quite worth it.

There's a group/duo I don't know if you've heard of them called Jakal & Hyde. They have some great beats. Hardcore Electro that sounds really old-skool and slightly evil. They're from the States

Check out the track Go Bang.

Eazy kicked ass.

Doc produced lyrics for dre.

dre sucked at lyrics. Snoop was a so-so back then. Eazy had dopeness.

Dre didnt have the slightest.

you want gangsta? download Just Tah Let U Know

seriously.

Yelle and Ren were was still with eazy, but im not even sure if Yelle wrote, he was just dj/co-producer.

Yea dre couldnt write, but but I think his production ultimately cancells* it entirly out. I think snoop was sick back then, and still is now, just abit off. But I never really had a serious thing for eazy.

Agreed. Maybe we can update/fuse it with the upcoming rap releases topic at the top of the Music Chat page as well, since no one's posted in it since November I think. Coming up on 1,000 replies in here aren't we?

Ofcourse he has lyrics that relate to him. I hear that dre has the people write for him, then he would change sh*t around to his liking and how he wants it to go.

Ganton, Dre does not lyricise at all my friend. He doesnt know how to rap. DOC is the one who does everything of his.

Anyways, I'm making the new topic now, so requesting a lock.

oh and join us up on our IRC channel, #Rap!

i didn;t say Dre was a lyriacist i was just pointing out how like everyone else you should just move on and let sh*t go if you haven't noticed the Ruthless Family are all kool with Dre i think L.A. Niggaz pointed that out since there were a few ruthless artists on that track Dre is a great artist and of course i know D.O.C. wrote it all i read up on all this months ago and i was the one to point that out to you but Eazy was no better than Dre as an Artist
