LCS Topics

Would it be possible to create a new section for the LCS topics, recently in the general discussion there has been an "explosion" of property buying "games" (I think that's what they are) Now I dont mind it if people want to do this but do we really need 7 threads?

It just seems to be taking up alot of room in that area, any thoughts? ideas?

Same thing with the Vice City General Discussion forum. Except in this case, there's very little activity (two or three members) - but the forum is still getting spammed up (albeit to a lesser extent) with this RPG stuff. The same member has started the game in both the VC and LCS forums, and as far as I know the LCS one has more activity.

 

I don't think it's right to just shut down the game, but at least in the VC forum could we limit it to one topic? I've spoken to the topic starter about this possibility, but he claims that it's too jumbled and confusing to have it all in one topic. Unfortunately, the other members have indicated their intention to create their own topics for each of their 'properties' and such.

Strangely enough I was thinking the same thing about the property topics. I know that this is mainly because this game doesn't interest me and therefore it's annoying to see that the top 5 topics are all about what I see as "the same thing". I'm sure if I was involved I'd see it differently, but I don't.

 

I suppose the same could be said for all the "I've created my own island consisting of 2 portacabins & a bin" topics that have suddenly appeared in the LCS cheats section.

I'm currently taking part in the "Liberty City Real Estate '98" Game that is taking place in the General Discussion Board over at Liberty City Stories. I must say it's gun fun and a great way to pass the time when there is nothing else to do. Like has already been said a lot of intrest has been displayed for the LCS Game, not so much for the VC and SA ones though.

 

I believe that deleting all of the Topics and seemingly "Stopping" or "Banning" the Game would result in a number of angered Members. Some people (me being one of them) have put alot of work towards this Project, none so more than Orginal GTA Master). And I believe rewarding him with his own Sub-Forum would be a great, if not perfect idea.

 

Like carpetdweller has already stated it is annoying for those who are not participating in the Game to have to troll through all of the Real Estate Topics just to find what they are looking for. I believe that creating the forementioned Forum would solve both parties problems and would add an extras boost towards the Liberty City Stories Section (as has the Real Estate Game done already).

I wouldn't go that far, just a universal topic of some description would be enough, I think.

Oh I wouldn’t close them all, but they should all be in one topic or as I suggested earlier in a separate thread.

 

Just looking there now, there is some kind of Movie sale thing? wtf?

I don't mind if it stays in one topic but anything that require more than one topic per forum isn't being run efficiently or worth having, to me.

 

Update: The Liberty City Stories forum now has at least 15 topics for one game, which is crazy.... there's now 3 topics in San Andreas and I think there was 4 in VC; just for one guy's thing... please make him limit it to one topic per forum.
