nonarky Posted February 5, 2006 Share Posted February 5, 2006 i always get this problem while connecting to a server, checksum failed data/weapon.dat i uninstalled and reinstalled vc-mp, but still get this problem, i also have multi theft auto installed, so how can i fix this? You only get this problem if your weapon.dat file has been modded, you need to reinstall vc or get a unmodded weapon.dat file. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

StridingCloud Posted February 21, 2006 Share Posted February 21, 2006 actually don't reinstall, just go to data folder and find the file named weapon.dat and delete and make sure you have a weapon.original, once you have the weapon.dat deleted, change the name of the weapon.original to weapon.dat (just rename the "original" part to .dat) it works just fine.
