lesfleanut
Anyone else into collecting concerts? There's a ton of bands that allow tapers to legally bootleg there shows, and trade them freely on the internet... Some bands even have special spots in the crowd for tapers. I'm mainly into collecting Primus and Les Claypool shows, I've got about 40 of them. Here's some links to get you started: http://www.bittorrent.com/ - You need this to download most shows. http://bt.etree.org/ - This is an awesome site, so many shows from so many bands. http://www.thetradersden.org - Lots of stuff here, you need to sign up though, well worth it. http://zombtracker.the-zomb.com - Same statement here as above link. Some bands even allow tapers to bring professional video equipment with them, and allow them on and around stage with several camera men. Primus is one of these bands, and I've got 3 proshot, awesome quality, and totally legal bootleg DVD shows out of that. Anyone else into this at all? Perhaps have some suggestions for a show to D/L? Maybe a few links that I missed out on? Well I hope so, because otherwise making this topic was a dumb idea.
Trows
Sweet, that first site has a porcupine tree show. With a pretty damn good setlist (I think, anyway) (edit: Well, it seems to be audio only, but ahwell, still going to grab it ) And a GWAR show, f*cking awesome. Great stuff here, les. lesfleanut
Trows, most of the bootlegs are audio, with only a few video. I really just lucked out with my favorite musician being extremely inovative in the tapers world... He has even started selling bootlegs straight from the soundboard of every concert he plays from now on.... http://www.primuslive.com/ http://www.c2b3live.com
vacuumo
I wish artists would ease up with taping. Downloads I can somewhat understand, but I honestly can't see the problem with taping concerts.
