DeathSquad
Download from Here The original houseboat was released about a year ago, and was of very poor quality, down to the giant gap in the rear of the roof. The original VC Houseboat is available for download off my site, and most other GTA Modding Sites. This San Andreas release is a rebuild from the original houseboat, in short only the hull and general design was kept. The interior is made up of San Andreas Generic Furniture Objects taken from the game, and features a living room, kitchen / dining room and bedroom in the rear. Now when someone says houseboat, many will think about a house floating on a barge. I know there was some crazy guy in Flordia in a houseboat shooting people and the news showed pictures. This is more like a floating trailer, mass production type vehicle built by the Stardust Company who still continue to build them. My father happens to own one (a 50 foot, 10 ton 1968) and this what this boat is based off. The general layout inside is the same, living room up front, dining room / kitchen area in the middle, and sleeping area in the back. Of course this model is much wider and a touch longer. Like the real boat its hard to get in from the side, you cannot climb up into it from any point. There is a swim platform on the rear for easy access, and on the left hand front side where the railings open up, you can swim / jump onto the boat. The Readme file includes two different handling specs, the first one will allow the vehicle to go 80 to 90 mph, and the second will give you 30 to 40 mph. In real life the boat does 4 to 10 mph. chickenplucker
The green is for artifical grass that comes on most boats (right?). Great mod, If I can find a real one of these I'll dig a pond in my backyard to stay in it lol.
The-end
It look's good, nice work why the green though, it just seems you sue green for things lol
DeathSquad
Here's the real life one. Its green because the real life one had as chickenplucker nailed it, one of those fake grass like outdoor carpets. Just change the texture in the TXD to something not so greenish. @The-End: Hehe, that bridge I am building over in the SA 420 thread (or my signature...) is based after a real life bridge, which is green. The not-so-good bridge picture in the bedroom of the houseboat is of the RL one.

Destruction-Overdrive
that awosme. you should put a save point in the boat. and a wardrobe closet.that would be awosme
Orion05
Yeah, this boat is really fantastic. It will definitely get a fixed place in my SA. @Destruction-Overdrive I dont think this is possible because the savepuint has to move. Maybe someone can do it but i dont think so. All in all impressive mod
Destruction-Overdrive
or mabe just have one of those in a fixed place somethere on a map. is it possible to create new savepoints?
DeathSquad
If I ever release my "US 420 San Andreas" Highway Mod, it will have a replica model of the house boat located in this marina area I made. And yes, should be possible to create new save points, basically remove one of the un-needed safe houses from the game and relocate all the data to the houseboat.
