All this Crap
Alright, here is what happened. I just bought a G5 laser mouse and came home connected it and installed the software (for the mouse) which came with it. It asked me to restart the computer and I did so basically when it restarted I got an error stating this: Begining Dump of Physical memory. The error could have been caused by a recent driver installed according to the error message, or software. It also talked about some special tool and told me to run a driver verifier....what the heck is that? This is the second time I've got this error, I don't remember installing any new driver/software last time I got it. I forgot to mention that I recently installed a portable hard drive to my computer, not long ago...just yesterday. So the two things I installed/connected to my computer recently have to be the portable hard drive and the mouse.
fuckindumass
I don't have any knowledge about this so maybe shouldn't even be posting...but these days you usually don't need to install anything for a mouse, windows can usually get by just fine, and my experience had been mostly adware and sh*t on mouse install cds......hope you can get help here...... All this Crap
Well, the mouse worked fine out of the box when I connected it, but I needed to use the CD for the buttons to function correctly. I don't think it's adware or anything like that. Would they really include that stuff with something you pay for?

Their program might report an install to its server, and then be considered spyware, but I have never heard of any reputable company like Logitech putting spyware on install CDs. However, their mouse drivers are completely bloated and pretty unnecessary. I have an MX500 and two 510's, and I never installed drivers because I have use of my back/forward buttons, the up/down buttons are just like using the wheel, and the app switcher button is too hard to reach anyways. However I suppose the G5 has lots of extra things you'll want. Where do you end up getting the error message? Is it in the middle of the windows loading screen, or from within windows? All this Crap
I got it when I restarted after installing the driver/software cd for the mouse. I have only got it twice so far....but only when I restarted the computer.

All this Crap
I have been able to use my PC fine till now. When I get the error I have to shut it down and start the computer again to be able to use it.

All this Crap
Yes, the screen is blue with text stating things I can do to find out what is wrong. So I guess it is a BSOD, and yeah kinda am forced to restart because my keyboard doesn't work when I get it. I have to manually restart it as in shutdown the PC from the power button and then turn it on.

So when you get into windows, I'd try uninstalling the drivers, restarting, making sure it still works, and going back and doing a repair install of windows. Alternatively, you could try system restore.

All this Crap
I think I should have mentioned the time frame between the two errors. I don't get it everytime I restart. When I first got it, it was in September and now I got it again.....difference of 5 months. I ignored it first but since I got it the second time I wanted to know what the hell was going on you know.
