InvertedShadow
-=[Version 0.1]=- http://freewebs.com/davidjoslin/GtaCoords.zip I recently got board and decided to make maps. And I also made a little program to help me. Thats the story of my life... Ok well anyway you put in the Coords X,Y to the top left (find it in GTA) and then put in the Coords X,Y to the bottom right (find it in GTA) and then you can click on the rectangle and find coords. I use it all the time, its easier then remembering where all the objects are because you can represent them as dots. Picture of how visual it could be: (I'm using this myself) Comments, Bugs, or Ideas welcome -David Joslin Edited February 6, 2006 by InvertedShadow

InvertedShadow
It makes it so you dont have to calculate coordinates yourself, and so you can keep track of where the other objects on your map add-on are.

InvertedShadow
Ok, example.. Blank Map: (after you set xy values) ________________ |..........................| |..........................| |..........................| |..........................| |..........................| |_______________| I click the middle.. ________________ |..........................| |..........................| |.......... X............ | A Dot comes up, and it gives me the coordinates. |..........................| |..........................| |_______________| So instead of having to go into gta everytime you want to find a coord you can just set a map up in it so that you can find all the coords within a set area. Also if you click where the other objects are you kno where to put the new one you want. ________________ |.................... X.. | That way i know there is no other object near it. |..........................| |.......... X............ | |..........................| |_______________| It was just useful to me because I didnt want to go into gta if i wanted to find new coords. I dont kno how else to explain it.. MobbedUp
when i go to run program i get a error message look at pic Pissed that problem can easyly be solved by Drag 'N' Dropping "COMDLG32.OCX" into "C:\WINDOWS\system32" This should solve your problem. mike0101
so you put a map where that square is to click on? That doesnt make sense, please reword it. Like when you open it up its just a square, so when you click on it and it gives you co-ordinates to a white space and you don't know where that relle is on the LC map.? I don't really get how to use it?

I don't really get how to use it? Ok, you goto the position you want in gtalcs, and you find the highest point while displaying coords.. like: _ |_| Thats the area you want to plot. You go to top left of it,which is north-west i believe and put those coords into my program as top left and go to bottom right and get those coords and put it in the program, the square is now plotting the positions you want... -=[New: Screenshot]=-
