bokkers
Hi folks, again I'm messing with GTA stuff and again I'm messing things up beyond the point of no return. I made a small billboard sign and added it to the game: Model, textures, everything OK except for the collision file. I made it with Steve-Ms colmaker and had to take a couple of roundabout in order to get there. I use ZM for modeling, so I had to export the model as 3ds file, then opening it with a conversion tool called "3D Exploration", in order to transform it into an .x-file. That file was put into the colmaker and generate the .col-file. The problem is: The collision object is a couple of feet away from the actual "optical" object, and also has a different z-axis rotation angle. I'd like to join both objects together so that they complement each other. Any ideas how I can solve this? Cheers.
fuckindumass
here's something you could try while waiting for a correct answer.....Zmod1 can export .x, and stevem's website has easy directions for using notepad to fix the .x for use as collision. (Zmod2 will export z3d for zmod1)
JernejL
Zmod1 can export .x but you need pedro's zmodeler plugin pack to do so first.
