TheGuyFromThere
Well gents, it's that time of year again when the gentlemen of the sporting world come together for a good thrashing - RBS Six Nations Rugby kickoff is tomorrow at 1330 (GMT+00) where Ireland will be giving Italy a good thrashing. What's your predictions for the 6 Nations? I have a feeling it'll be down to Ireland and France in the finals, where France are going to hold the ball for most of the game - but Ireland will prevail overall. Tomorrows scores I predict will be: Ireland 38 Italy 26 Place your bets! inactive
Cuse510
I saw this match, and although Ireland did not play that well, they still won 26-16 I think. They'll need to play a lot better to beat the quality teams in the tournament...

TheGuyFromThere
I missed the Scotland match today unfortunatly.. was up the mountains. The England Wales match was the best I've seen so far, the Ireland Italy match was sh*t tbh.. I predicted France and Ireland would do well, which they did - but England just take the biscuit.. they're clearly winning it this year, they were just too awesome against Wales, and Wales are a pretty badass team (being the current title holders, and all that) inactive
Pyrate
I reckon the tournaments gonna be wide open this year. England are gonna get beaten by France and Ireland (possibly) while the Scots won't be far behind. Ireland and France match has to be one of the most amazing matches I have ever seen! I agree, it was quite an incredible match. I was rooting for the Irish, but they waited a bit too long before turning up the pressure. It was very exciting to see them coming back though. I thought O'Driscoll ran very well and also made some great passes during their run. It's just too bad that they played so awful in the first half. The Phantom Menace
Eh, I was more than disappointed with England's performance yesterday. It seems every year we get our hopes up that this is the year England will win the Grand slam and we'll defeat all the opposition. As soon as we say that, what happens? We play sh*te and end up being defeated by (on paper at least) a weaker team. I have to admit and say that I put a little bet on England beating the Scots, not comprehensively, but a win nonetheless. (I was going by the Englands team form in previous matches). It's a good job I only put a tenner on them, or I would've ended up just like my mate did. He stupidly put £100 on England winning, and lets just say the smile was wiped right off his face. Anyway, enough of my complaining. I believe the next match for England is against France? Hmm, if it is then this is going to be a close match indeed. Both teams haven't performed to the best of their ability in my opinion, so I'm expecting (or hoping) that fireworks will explode in this. I don't expect England to win easily but I just have a feeling England will edge it and bounce back from their defeat against Scotland. Taking all that into consideration, I predict that the result for England V France will be: England - 12 France - 10 Meh, that's just my prediction and I highly doubt it'll happen. However though, there's no harm in having a go. One thing is for sure though, I don't even dare make a guess when we play Ireland. That is always one hell of a match and I'm a little bit apprehensive to place a prediction. Saying that, I'm sure I'll change my mind next week. Cuse510
Ireland beat up on Wales yesterday, a game that I was actually at (we found a school group that had a bunch of extra tickets ) The Irish didn't play very well in the first 20 minutes or so, but they really turned it on after that. I think if they can play a good 80 minutes of rugby, they can defitnitely beat both France and England. Right now though, it's way to close to pick a winner for the tournament... Cuse510
Sorry for the double post/bumpage, but did anyone see the Ireland v England game? I just watched it, and it was incredible. Ireland scored a last minute try with Shane Horgan and they ended up beating England 28-24 and winning the triple crown. It wasn't the prettiest game ever, but it was a very exciting finish. f3llah1n
Bah, I'm still mad at that useles twit Gavin Henson. If he hadn't royally cocked up (twice) then Ireland would be the full champions, instead of just the Triple Crown. Oh well.. next year
