Y_Less Posted February 3, 2006 Share Posted February 3, 2006 I haven't been on IRC in a long time and I am supposed to be an op on #gtalc (I'm a led-by for it and if you don't believe me ask Craig) but the channel and I have both fallen out the registered list and I can't put it back without op status which I don't have. Would it be possible to have this restored? I have re-registered my nick (Y_Less) but am not the channel founder (it's still open due to people sitting there). Cheers. Luke Posted February 3, 2006 Share Posted February 3, 2006 Understandable, I've registered the channel on your behalf and transferred founder to yourself. When you're next on IRC you should probably do: /cs set #gtalc password <New Founder Password> You'd normally enter a founder password when registering, but I've done that for you. That way you can always log into ChanServ to get your access back if it doesn't come with NickServ, for whatever reason, or for other people who should have founder access to use etc etc. I've set the channel and your nickname up not to expire so it should stick around - we hope. adam broke it.
