--Cole--
There's a lot of map mods out, but this forum is very disorganized for finding them. Can we get a pinned directory listing of all the released map mods/TC's? Map Mod Directory All The Map Mods Here GTA Illegal Sectors (BETA) - Download - GTAF Topic - Official Site GTA LVS (REL/1.0) - Download - GTAF Topic - Official Site Interstate 420-C (REL/2.0) - Download - Official Site SA Trade Center (N/R) - Download - GTAF Topic - Official Site GTA Rally (REL/1.0) - Download - GTAF Topic - Official Site GTA VC-SA (BETA/0.1a) - Download - GTAF Topic - Official Site GTA LC-SA (REL/1.0?) - Download - GTAF Topic - Official Site Sprunk Factory (REL/1.0?) - Download - GTAF Topic - Official Site Supersafehouse (REL/1.0) - Download - GTAF Topic - Official Site Closed-Eyes-Area (BETA/0.2) - Download - GTAF Topic - Official Site GTA Mafia Stories (REL/0.1) - Download - GTAF Topic - Official Site List incomplete, will be updated frequently. Like daily, (err...never mind, map mods don't come out that often. I'll update whenever there's new mods.) if you were wondering. (Moderators can add to list as well.) El_Venezolano
Thats what I use Search for, or theres the GTA Garage since most of the mods in the forums are hosted there.

--Cole--
No you stupid prick, this is totally on topic. Did you even READ my post before using cut n' paste when you saw there were no pretty pictures? No? Diddnt think so. Try using your own f*cking advice before you shove it down anyone else's throat. Well, maybe now that I've got your attention, you'll hear what I have to say. The map mod showroom is practically useless for finding ACTUAL COMPLETED MODS. They're all half-done with a screen or two. The search function is equally inept. So what I propose with this topic, is to have a directory pinned to the top of the page, listing all of the completed map mods. So- For all you map modders out there: if you have a COMPLETED map mod, post the link here, and I will add it to the (soon-to-be-reformatted) first post. --Cole--
No! I just want one topic that lists all the map mods! Is that so wrong? Look, it'd be like this: VC StuntPark by somemodder - Download GTA Canada Total Conversion - Download New Bridges Mod by amapper - Download GTA Tokyo Total Conversion - Download All of which would be on different sites, mostly because GTAGarage doesn't have the bandwith for map mods and total conversions. Although, since so few have been completed, I might have to put up betas as well.

RainingAcid
I have to say this. Search, is totally useless. You get so many unwanted search. Main reason is that there is only an "Match username". There should be an option where you can what you looking for.
DexX
I have to say this. Search, is totally useless. You get so many unwanted search. Main reason is that there is only an "Match username". There should be an option where you can what you looking for. um....have you actually *used* the search feature? its much more advanced than just "match username".. Regarding the topic, i am going to pin it, for a number of reasons. Looking for a release topic is a waste of time, particularly if your actually willing to keep this list up to date. Besides, not everyone who has a gtaf wip topic, posts the final/beta on gtagarage. So, keep the list up to date, and link to the gtaf release topic for the mods (not the file, the topic), and the list will stay pinned. im not in the mood to warn you all individually; knock off the flaming. next time i'll lock it. if someone gets out of hand, just report the post. dont respond with more flaming. --Cole--
Wow! My topic's been pinned! OMG this is so cool!!! I finally feel like I'm a real part of the GTAForums community! ... So anyway, I need links to the GTAF Topic as well? Like this: GTA Map Mod (REL/3.7) - Download - GTAF Topic - Official Site Should I make a table or something for it? Or does this format suffice? DexX
GTA Map Mod (REL/3.7) - Download - GTAF Topic - Official Site Should I make a table or something for it? Or does this format suffice? its really up to you. tables can make it more "presentable", but they aren't necessary. IMO, i'd just link to the topic(s). typically if the people working on the mod have a website/download link, they'll make an effort to keep that info up to date themselves. im not saying you can't add it yourself, but it might be more work than is really neceassry on your part. use your own discretion. If people really wanted their mods to be known, they would have stuck with the rules and used [WIP] or [REL] tags so that the search function would make this all unnecessary. Honestly, props to a mod who goes through and adds the appropriate tags and locks the new topics without them

--Cole--
I started this topic because I don't know what map mods are done, which ones have betas, which ones dont, etc. But if anyone knows it would be the modders who make them. So- Attention all map modders: if you have a map mod you want linked here then post about it and I will add it to the top.
