ELX Posted February 3, 2006 Share Posted February 3, 2006 Hey guys, I've had San Andreas on PC for a couple of months now. Anyway today i was checking out mods, and decided to get a few and try them out. Firstly i tried a Yamaha M1 mod for the NRG500. I had Vice City and was always able to mod it with succes. But this didn't work. The mod installed 100% perfectly with a great mod installer i downloaded. I opened the game up, wen't to open my saved file, and it just stopped loading half way. I had to Ctrl Alt Delete it and then even after deleting the mod and putting all the old files and settings back i kept doing the same thing. In the end i had to uninstall, then re install, which fixed the problem. But i tried a diffrent mod, and the same thing happened. This time i did ti manualy, rather than with the mod installing program. So i've uninstalled/reinstalled it again. But how can i get mods to work? Is this a common problem? Or just something im experiencing? Only thing is, that i used a cheat once in my game, caus ei was too lazy to walk, so i spawned a monster truck. I saved it after that, and now whenever i save it reminds me that a cheat was activated, and that it could cause problems. Does that cause my modding/loading problem? Or is it something else? Mxyzptlk Posted February 3, 2006 Share Posted February 3, 2006 If you have version 2/special edition of San Andreas you won't be able to change how things look, like custom vehicles and whatnot.
