I have noticed that there are a few island projects going on ATM. I think it is great, that with the help of Edison Carters cheat device and some coding knowledge, apparently people are able to mod LCS. The PSP truely is a powerful little machine... It seems as though people are being secretive about these projects though. I am curious as to the progress on them... Maybe we can see some screenies of the islands?

I'm feeling terrible, now all the great stuff is going on with GTA and with the PSP FirmWare 2.60, Well, here is the deal, my PSP has been stolen from my house a couple days ago, first I thought: It has been replaced or something like that by my mom, but my mom and my dad, didn't do anything, so I searched the whole house, my work, my garden.. I've searched everything, but no were to be found, so... Only one thing comes to mind, it has been STOLEN! with everything precious in it, PSP + 1GB SanDisck MemoryStick Dup and GTA:LCS in the PSP....

So some anonymous guy came into your house, didn't disturb any doors or windows. He either knew where your PSP was or happened to find it by chance, then left quietly. There must be more valuable things in your house than that.

 

Did your parents care?

For people who want to learn how to make islands, I suggest starting with something easier, such as converting Bellville Park into an industrial estate, or turning a car park into a stunt arena.

 

Don't try to make your own land mass. Use the mountains, or other places of ready made and un-used land. With the Shoreside Vale upgrade that LCS gave us.

 

Anyway, Here's a little 'fair' conversion I did to Liberty Campus as an example of simple conversion.

Anyways, yeah my dad confessed just a minute ago that he left the house for like 20 minutes with the door open/half open... No problem in the street where I live at least normally...

What I don't understand is why there are tons of different island projects. None of them have released any info and many don't even have a determined map! Wouldn't it be smarter for everyone to join together and finish 1 project? Then you could break off, make your own places, using more experience, and all the non-spawners would have a new place to explore! It's a win-win situation! You won't get tons of popularity (If that's what you want, then you selfish bastards), but you'll have exerience necessary to become popular by making your own little world.

 

And what is up with mapmakers using Paint to make the maps?

For people who want to learn how to make islands, I suggest starting with something easier, such as converting Bellville Park into an industrial estate, or turning a car park into a stunt arena.

 

Don't try to make your own land mass. Use the mountains, or other places of ready made and un-used land. With the Shoreside Vale upgrade that LCS gave us.

 

Anyway, Here's a little 'fair' conversion I did to Liberty Campus as an example of simple conversion.

You must add 60 onto 09591670 for every new object you want to add. But adding in hexadecimal is not the same as in standard numerical digits. Instead of going from 1 to 9, which is standard numerical, hexadecimal goes 0 - F. dontgetit.gif

Here are some rotation codes for reference and for if they're needed. Remember, when it says a 90 degree rotation; it's a 90 degree rotation from north, clockwise, which would take us to East.

when did u start hex editing?

 

idea: when youve turned the cheat on and you go and see if there there.... turn off the code so it wont be able to spawn more..

 

and yes it is ment to spawn two lamps...

You have to know a bit of stuff about CheatMaker to do it, yes...You need to know the syntax of CheatMaker and where you need to place everything. A Flash memory card is just a normal memory card. All memory cards (SD, Memory Stick, xD) are flash memory. And you're not adding to the game, you're just pulling stuff from the UMD to the map. You cannot put stuff into the game. You cannot play as 8-Ball.

No you cant the peds r coded into the game you cant edit anything or add anything to the game If your looking to add/change things your better off getting San Andreas for PC.
