Hey, I didn't even know Euro Forces was out until KABOOM someone mentioned the Great Wall map or some sh*t. The same thing could happen to Armoured Fury.

 

This Battlefield 2142 sounds sh*t. I'm with Daz, I won't be buying it. Battlefield 2 + Future = lose.

Are the maps going to be more on the cool side as in Strike At Karkand combat, or armour whoring, hence the name "Armoured Fury"?

I will be buying 2142, I bought every BF game so far, I like the idea of futuristic, will mean I have a choice of real world and not so real.

 

It's all about the fun for me and I would find 2142 fun

I just hope you aren't as disapponted as I was. EF wasn't as great as I anticipated and I only play the maps on 16 size now.

 

I'm actually looking forward to AF as well. Just not as much as you and Daz it would seem. Can't see there being any new armies though.

 

Anything BF2 is sex for me. It helps fill the voids between each GTA.

Seems it's more populated on predetermined meets.

 

I can't get on through the week too much due to work and family committments but am always on at weekends. To be honest the server usually has people on around this time actually.

 

What usually happens is that we get a few members on, attract a few more while we wait and then it sort of snowballs from there really. I get what you are saying about playing on oher servers though. Too many twats and not enough admins spoiil the BF2 broth.

 

Congrats Hagan. I only need 10 heal points for my Veteran First aid but can't bring myself to wear the medic kit.

If we want space ships and lazers in bf2 we would just play star wars battlefront.

 

AF will be mainly aerial based I would imagine, Or just be like regular bf2 maps just with new aerial vehicles. I would imagine, like USMC on wake, only much faster and easy incursions.

 

And the name has nothing to do with armor, its not armor fury, its armored, doesnt mean just tanks, there is armored helicopters, jeeps, chest plates, dinner plates, battle sporks, big wangs, and your face.

You should just be able to knife mines when prone to prop them up and disable them.

Been thinking of armoured fury while I was at work last night. The possiblity of the little bird especially. Pity there's no date set. Was scheduled for the 28th of this month but EA's incapacity to do anything remotley decent stands in our way again.
