2006 is rather quick for a new Battlefield game, bf2 hasn’t even been out that long really.

 

But I would like to have a go in one of those walking robotic things.

Yeah, some people took out of context a joke saying something like they were more likely to make a game 2142 than a BF3 or something. To me it looks too much like BF2 to be authentic. And has all the same logos and music.

 

Not to mention on one of those sh*tty video hosting sites not from official sites.

2142 (if real) looks alright to me, they should of made a new engine I think.

Plus it now will be up against Quake Wars.

Both concepts look virtually the same.

Someone on total bf2 said there was some AF vehicle files in the bf2 files. I couldnt find them but it didnt seem al that likely he was lying. As he said there was a file that was like an MD535 Littlebird.

 

Aint confirmed it yet though.

Someone on total bf2 said there was some AF vehicle files in the bf2 files. I couldnt find them but it didnt seem al that likely he was lying. As he said there was a file that was like an MD535 Littlebird.

 

Aint confirmed it yet though.

Saw that., They were in the localization files or something. INstalled with the last patch I believe. Some of them were for the vehicles with EF and some were not included in EF so obviously were sneaked in in prepartion for AF.

Main thing I want to know is what army and what guns we are going to get, and if we can unlock them.

 

Doubt it, but anyway I wonder if the scout choppers will have any weapons, or if the 2nd seater will only be able to fire out the window or what.

 

Basically I just want Aerial DPV's. Fast and small things that just zip around that nobody ever cares about and just ditches. Then its all for me to use. I would just speed around in one of those things the whole map f*ck killing people. I will be like that dude on one of the demo videos driving a dump truck through kubra dam.

Digital Illusions is developing Battlefield 2142

 

The fight for survival takes place the year 2142. Swedens largest game developer Digital Illusions is developing a new title in the award-winning battlefield series: Battlefield 2142 for the PC platform. The awaited game is planned to launch all over the world during the fall of 2006. The publisher is Electronic Arts.

 

In the middle of october 2005 Digital Illusions made a deal about a PC-game in the shoter genre that's being anounced. Battlefield 2142 the PC-game is built on the same engine as Battlefield 2 and is being developed on the companys Stockholm office. The game is a stand alone product and is based on Digital Illusions own trademark.

 

- Battlefield has been known for it's innovative and first-class multiplayer action. Now we are taking the step into the future, says Marcus Nilsson, senior producer at Digital Illusions.

 

The story of the new product takes place in the future. In Battlefield 2142 the players are forced to choose between two military superpowers in a decisive battle for survival. In the year 2142 a new ice age has crippled large parts of the earth and the world powers are gathering their strength. Up to 64 players can play against each other in two teams. When the players progresses he will get promotions and awards in form of new weapons, medals and much more.

Alaskan border with the chinese, hopefully awesome snow map. And it would have to include the chinese new jet and the harrier, the farm map should have the attack jets, and the highway map should have the choppers, hopefully the choppers are on all maps.
