And EF will suck on our server, unless the maps are set to 16, I only really enjoy 64 people on smoke screen or great wall. Completely pointless playing those maps as there is hardly enough people to fill up a 16 player size map let alone those huge ones.

 

Go for SF, I think I may as well get those 4 expert SF badges I never bothered to get.

Ha, I finally got my basic Armor after a few minutes at karkand. I love that map! I think most if not all my badges have been awarded on Karkand and Sharqi.

 

I will probably pick up SF when I get my copy of the godfather game. Should be good.

On a different site people were talking about awards and how they were earned. One big problem is that people spawn camp and tk for vehicles. I'll admit that those don't have too much to do with rewards, but sometimes it does. Also statpadding(?) is a problem, but what online ranking game doesn't have that problem? Here is my solution.

 

"Personally I think that awards should only be given for single player games. Then your rank would only increase as you get awards. Then you would need certain awards to do certain things, such as flying a plane and being commander.

 

Unfortunately BF2 isn't set up to be like that, even if they tried. Single player is just too boring. They could, however, make singleplayer be missions. Such as a few (easy) basic plane missions to be able to fly a plane. Then when you pass those you get a more advanced set of missions, earning you more and more pilot rewards. There would be three sets of missions to avoid luck and so people will learn better.

 

Same goes with guns. Obviously you shouldn't need to pass a few missions to be able to shoot, but if they added more skill needed then most people might recommend it. If you've ever played Counter-Strike Source, then you'd know what I mean by skill. Heck, almost everything in BF2 could require alittle bit more skill to be good at it. (tanks?)"

 

I was just wondering what ya'll thought about my idea. Obviously I think it might work, but I'd like to read other peoples opinions.
