Hmm... just now I was on the server and my ping was terrible.

 

At the end when I quit I think it was at 500, I couldn't really do anything. I've played on the server quite a lot and usually my ping is only around 18-20.

I did kill Daz twice while I was on there though.

 

...but then he completely owned me about 5 times, but in my defence I was like five seconds behind what was going on in the game.

That game was awesome. Lag wasn't too bad at all, scoring mid 30's each time. Fun fun.

Now I remember why i'm somewhat reluctant to play on the server. 360 ping while being used to 18 is bad.

 

I sat there shooting at Dup with a SAW at point blank range while he tried to knife me and only just killed him before the gun overheated.

No joke, I installed newer drivers for my graphics thinking i'm doing myself some good, but no crashes and laggy patches, so now I'm back on the drivers that first came with the game and it runs and looks better than before.

 

Erm guys video ideas please.

I went with ynvge(sp?) and MmMs/everyones advice and chose the L85. It's not a great weapon, but I'm only ~200 pts away from Corporal, so I'll get my G36E and be happy.

All good though, got some decent kills, got a decent score of around mid 30's again.

argh i cant stand this lag, is there any way i can play in servers outside of my country without the lag?

I just finished playing the best round ever. Sharqi Peninsula, 12 players in a 32 player match. My team (USMC) ended up just barely winning (4-0). At first, both teams we neck and neck, but a few mintues in, the MECs had a 20 ticket lead (150-130), at which point someone in our team remarked, "We lose."

 

"Don't be too sure," I thought. Considering how our base was captured, I stopped C4ing the enemy's artillery and went over to take back our base. It was hell. Those MEC basturds kept respawning as we assaulted with all we had. I was playing both as a medic and an engineer trying to support as much as I could (reviving fallen teammates, repairing our fallen equipment, attempting to mine some tanks, trying to headshot some guy with my engineer's shotgun). At one point, I even had to revive our commander after he was hit with artillery (probably the commander's own). Soon after we got our base back, we went on the offensive and started trying back our outposts. It was at that point (or around that point) that the ticket lead was closing (roughly 34-33) and we were beginning to get the lead. I was just bouncing between command point to command point recapturing netural and enemy flags. The final stand was at the constuction yard in the center of it all. 10 to 8, I finishing caping the MEC flag up top, when I noticed two MECs climbing up the side ladder across the gap. So I got up and sprint-jumped across the gap. That was honestly the only time when my gung-ho-ness actually worked. The moment I landed, I popped the first guy in the face, the noticed the second guy was hiding behind a pillar, so I winded around it and got him in the head. It was then, while I was healing myself from that little stunt, that I got a Basic Medic Combat Badge. The 30 seconds after that we pretty much uneventful compared to the 30 mintues prior to that...

 

...good times to be had. I'm really starting to like this game and I'm getting better at it, too. (But only at city maps cuz I suck at the rest...)

I crashed several times during the game, but still came back and had some fun. Sniped with the SVD, wanted to go heli-gunning, but Daz was busy with the C4 and MMMS just drops me off in the middle of nowhere and flies away D:<

 

Then i just stuck to the PKM and racked up loads of kills. No medals

That was a great round of sharqi. I believe I finished top with 170+. Only because Daz was C4'ing everyone to get his badge.

It was like that time I almost threw a nade at my mum out the window untill I realised it was real life.

 

@ anuj, you would go and get the sh*ttest gun in the world, I SAID G36C OR G3 DAMNIT.

I ended up with -67 at the end of my mission by suicides but I owned like hell and managed to get my kills more than my deaths with super duper killings with the awesome FN SCAR-L. Im sure I have some new victims.

Heh, the L85 is a means to an end. Without that, I can't get the G36E when I get promoted in about 150 points. I really wanted to unlock the G3 or the G36E, but:

 

- The G3 doesn't have a GL. Noob tube or not, it postponed my unlocking.

- The G36C was really tempting, but I play Medic more than I do SpecOps.
