Aye.

 

G36c f*ckign owns in close combat, and over long distances, i'm more accurate with it than laser-sight guns. So in a lag free enviroment, I just own with it. But in servers on the other side of the world, my style of play doesn't work as well, so I need to stick back more.

 

Edit: And mercie, I was using the sniper rifle before, and I found that I can actually hit things with it now. Thanks for the "own the f*ck out of trows with a sniper rifle causing him to adapt" session.

Don't get the anti-tank unlock, it's crap. As I always play as a medic, I got that unlock and to be honest it's not that much better then the original one. Just a better sight and a tiny bit more accurate.

The Anti-Tank unlock is an absolute must-have. The DAO-12 is by far the best shotgun in the game. The MP5 could have been replaced with a slingshot and no-one would have noticed any difference.

 

Also, platinum, if you always play as medic, get the second medic unlock. G36E = Win. It's pretty much the same as the Spec-Ops unlock (G36C). Only better.

There is no SF-unlock but I guess you need the original BF2 unlock.

Yup, you need to atleast have played SF on your account to get the G36E.

Also with the new unlocks, it said the same thing in 1.12, just because they are in the patch doesnt mean they will be unlockable for everyone, its just a list of contents. I would imagine it will be the same as SF. Otherwise that is pretty lame.

 

 

 

And most importantly, has anyones stats updated in the past 12 hours? because I still aint got my medal in my stats or more sniper hours or more points. It aint showed in bf2 yet so im hoping its just a slow stat server thing. Otherwise I am gunna be really pissed that I played sniper for ages and didnt get the hours. (As I was banned from the server, but you should still get the points etc.)

Yeah, the stats updating thing is a bitch. If it didn't take like 8 hours for it to do it, I would've been promoted by now.

 

I played on Wake last night, racking up some easy points. I was at 420 when I stopped, and I thought I had gained close to 200.

 

I check BFHQ like 2 hours later, and I'm at 450. So I play a little bit more, kinda pissed that I lost my gold/silver stars and badges.

 

I check BFHQ this morning, and I think I'm the only PFC with 600 global points. At least I got my badges/medals.

At Mashtuur today, at the backyard flag, a lone enemy tank was trying to cap the flag. I was the only one there, and I was playing as a medic, so I couldn't kill him.

 

Instead, I rushed up behind him, got my medic bags out and started to jump up and down just infront of him, so close that he couldn't shoot me, spamming the bags at him, in an attempt to make him belive that it was C4.

 

Guess what? He bought it.

Got the tank, and ran him over.

 

Great fun.

Hmm... just now I was on the server and my ping was terrible.

 

At the end when I quit I think it was at 500, I couldn't really do anything. I've played on the server quite a lot and usually my ping is only around 18-20.
