Woa... playing on any server but ours really blows now, I was on a few others and it's just full of fags, I would get tk'd for the stupidest of reasons, I swear our server is way more fun.

I concur, I went on another server last night and I was demoted to Private with no unlocks while everyone else had rank. Still, I owned all.

What do you mean you got demoted to private? How can that happen?

 

Our server does rock though, the best thing is that WE decide who can play so we can kick the n00bs out straight away and then when it fills, its our picks.

@Duppins It's a 1.2 bug. You need to rejoin the server once to regain the unlocks, but I don't know about the rank. You still get points though.

Just had some nice rounds in the heli.

 

In two rounds, I racked up 94 kills and zero deaths. I beleive that's called pwntage. Got some awesome TV missle shots out. Hmm, good fun before going back to uni on Monday.

Well I am gunna probably play all of today and later on maybe, after my name is earl, twins is also on haha. But yeah. I need 5000 for next rank, 1,500 more kills for a medal, 21 minutes for a badge, 25 and 70 wins for another medal and 10 hours for another few badges. But yep.

If you lived in Americaland, I would tell you that the gunsmith near me is selling surplus G3s for $480. They're a little beat up, but they work. And you can buy 50 mags for $50.

 

If I wasn't saving up for a camera, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Yeah try turning your graphic settings down and/or turn down your sound quality in options to medium. I had mine set to hardware high before the patch and then I set it to hardware medium and that somehow sorted my lag problems. Hope that helps.

Does anybody know how to unlock all the weapons in Singplayer for patch 1.2? I tried the method of opening the unlocks.py folder and editing the defaultUnlocks bit but it didn't work.

 

Any suggestions? And I'm gonna install (well, at least attempt to) that Singplayer Stats thing, that remembers you're stats for singleplayer allowing you to get bumped up etc.

There are three ways of doing it:

 

1) Going through hours of work and setting up a co-op server.

2) PMing me and connecting to my coop server, where after you play one round, you can test out all the unlocks.

3) Changing your US_Specops, US_AT, US_Engineer, etc .con files and changing your weapons around.

4) EASIEST: Download the Euroforce weapon unlocker I posted earlier. With that, all Tier 1 unlock (vanilla) will be used by PLA. All tier-2 (SF) weapons by Chinese, and all Tier-3 (EU) by USMC. Play as USMC on any map and you can test out the two new unlocks.

It'll create a folder in your mods directory called "weapontest".

 

On your BF2 shortcut, add the line "+modPath mods/weapontest" or activate it ingame.

HAHA. EA will have sh*t to pay if the entire stats server has been wiped. I cannot retrieve any of my stats using my program, apparantly the nickname doesn't exist which suggests that the server is indeed up, but the stats are missing.
