Got my Basic Aviator badge today so when I get 50K I get promoted to Sergeant Major and not the other one.

Basic Aviator was a cinch since I jumped on a 8/64 player Wake Island and flew around. Getting Vetern ones is going to kill me. I can't fly for sh*t. I have a joystick it's just lack of practice. Flying planes with the Joystick is easy and I can even do some of those neat stunts, it's the Heli I get crappy at, if (like I keep saying) it was only like the ones in San Andreas. I'd like to get a bunch of people together and practice but we're all in different time zones.

Hell yeah, I'd be game for that. I f*cking blow at flying and could really use some practice. Just let me know when/where and I'll try to be there.

Most people practise flying in single player away from other pilots flying around shooting you down, that would be the best place to go, I'm sure you can do single player co-op with one other person. Or did I just make that up in my brain?

 

Don't think I've ever killed somebody in a plane that wasn't in the air, it's impossible to bomb people on the ground, I always end up going for the old kamikaze.

Basically, when you have a Joystick in any flight game, it's a doddle basically. If you aren't any good at flying, just get in a jet, even if you crash, eventually you will gain experience.

 

Or even get a simple Flight game, an old one, you can learn to fly in them really easily, the same basics are involved. Except, in BF2, there's no controls for landing gear or anything like that, but you can learn the flying fairly easily

Thanks for the tips, but heck even in single player it's almost tougher to get into a jet with out a BOT taking it first. I'm gonna jump on now for a little bit and practice. I have a Saitex ST290 Pro if anyone wanted to know.

 

Platinum, lol sorry I wasn't able to play on that server it kept kicking me for high ping, which is a first for me. I don't even lag ever, so I dunno.

What you need to do when flying is get up to over 300-400, that way you avoid the other planes, then make your way over to the other airfield, then come down steep as f*ck on them. There's bound to be at least 5 people waiting on the heli pad or where the plane spawns. I do this on Wake all the time. That's what I got kicked for Vanzant

 

Then just rinse and repeat that. Fly back to the carrier, reload and your sorted. I only do this on Wake though.

Flying take some getting used to. i'm better with the jets, than the heli's.

The awesomeness of C4 cannot be denied. Too bad BF2 doesn't have gib-style damage on people

Hey, I buy a copy of this game (with special forces) some weeks ago, I played it sometimes, I'm still a noob though... can you tell at what hours you play?

Gta Star, yeah I really like the handling on the Joystick it's very nice for the cheap money I paid for it. I'm getting really good with jets, gonna practice Heli some more tonight unless something comes up. I found out if anything, I really like being the Gunner on attack Heli's so if anyone ever needs a Gunner i'm always ready. I'm working on TV missile skills, i've got to say for us cigarette smokers, the guner seats the best since all I need is the mouse. I was gunning for a guy the other night and got 37 kills in one round and even earned the Heli badge thingy.
