Been playing the 2142 demo all week in a bid to rekindle my love of the BF series to no avail.

 

BraVo's in love with it though and will be on. All I want to see is the Fall of Berlin and Camp Gibralter maps which look pretty sweet.

This is something which has been mooted around for a while with games, it's even been mentioned in connection with GTA, simply because games are getting like films and the only way most films these days are made are with advertising money and product placements, so it's only natural that gaming companies will be attracted to this extra income as well. Although the method needs to be refined a bit more than what is mentioned in that link, it would be prefferable for the advertising 'space' to be placed there by the games publisher, in BF2142's case EA Games rather than 3rd party advertisers, otherwise they could become sloppy and poor little 8 year old Johnny who is playing BF2142 sees a billboard advertising 'Russian sl*ts giving...' well you know. And I'd hate to be the legal team on the receiving end of that one.
