Bond996
YES but i mean "how" do i do that my pw2 is fine everything is set up, so its obviously a problem with my pc. i have followed all the advice in this thread. and still no soloution. You need to go into the properties for the ethernet card that is connecting to your internet connection, and right click, go to properties, and on the advanced tab, check the box to allow other users to connect, and if there is a box to select the connection, make sure to specify the connection that your PS2 is plugged into. Then your options for the PS2 card should automatically set its IP address, and will assign one to the PS2 automatically and share your internet connection with it. You never posted how that worked out for you. EDIT:Also, you couldn't google? Edited January 15, 2006 by Bond996

You dont even seem to even bother to research this. That is what annoys me. You expect people to have the answers ready for you to hand it to you on a plate without doing the work yourself... Personally, i am more than happy to help, you just have to help yourself too.

_-playero-_
i didnt get any drivers also do they two different cables look different ? Cables look different as someone there replied. You can either buy a crossover cable, or try patching a straight one into a crossover by switching the small wires on both ends of the cable. Don't ask me tho, I once tried it and I end up with a useless straight(sp) cable..
