Ok, I'm running a windows xp, intel celeron processor, 80gb, 576mb RAM, emachines 2220 And San An just won't work.

I got the game almost as soon as it came out for pc. I ran it on my pc and it worked fine for years, in fact i completed it. But then I got some spyware and had to restore my pc. now the game installs fine, but when I try to play it it just won't work at all. I click on the icon and get an eggtimer for a split second and then nothing happens. I'm pissed off because I loved that game, and i've tried everything. I've reinstalled directx, installed it twice, tried it with the no-cd hack and everything, but still it won't work, and I don't understand why.

I hear Intel Celeron Processor's aren't the best to be running high-end games like San Andreas. But the rest of your specs seem fine. And I know how you feel, I San Andreas didn't work on my PC, I had to wait three months until I got my new one, now it runs brilliantly. Have you tried deleting your spyware? Maybe that's the cause. Or reinstall Windows XP? Other than that, I can't help you I'm afraid.

no, I don't come on here that much anymore. But I think I might have an answer to my problems. When i restored my pc it wiped everything, including my graphics cards drivers, so i'm going to download the drivers and see if it works then.

EDIT: It works! All I did was install the drivers for my graphics card and now it works fine!
